I just read about you on AOL.com and I must say that you are an inspiration. I admire you for your strength in your decision in dealing with what you have been diagnosed with. That and your pieces certainly are amazing.
Alison, I read the article about you yesterday. As someone with multiple disabilities, I find it intriging to learn about others with various conditions. As a poet, I am working on a book for and about people with special needs. I also am writing tribute poems. It started out with Johnny Cash, Rosa Parks, and other well known people. Then I began writing poems based on articles in Reader's Digest and the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. It's people like you that give me inspiration in my writing. Deanna
